The effects of kindness is not always seen or recognized immediately. Years after Inspire Kindness Productions owner and founder, Melissa Jacobs lost her husband and father of her young children (May of 2015); she reflected on how part of the grief recovery came from the overwhelming support from people in her community. Every act of kindness given to the Jacobs family made Melissa go from feeling suffocated with grief to unequivocal feelings of love and strength. Inspire Kindness Productions was born from the belief that other families could use the same boost that her family were handed. The company, started in January of 2018 has already helped 7 families in the Okanagan through fundraisers and Inspire Kindness Bags.
